Year 5 Bikeability

In April, our Year 5 children took part in a week-long Bikeability course to learn how to safely navigate roads when using a bicycle.  They first demonstrated their cycling skills on the school playground before heading out onto local roads to apply their skills to approaching junctions, turning out out onto a road and crossing roundabouts.  The instructors were keen to tell us how the children taking part were not only excellent listeners, but also how independent they were.  Well done to all of the children who passed their Level 1 and Level 2 Bikeability course.
