Exploring Space

Space & the Artemis II mission

In our assemblies our children were taken on an exciting journey into space as we explored the historic Artemis II mission.  Together we looked up at the night sky and reflected on humanity's next steps towards the Moon, marvelling at the missions ambitious aims - especially the breath-taking lunar flyby.  The children were captivated as they considered what it might take to become an astronaut and learned about the fascinating career paths of the crew involved in this pioneering mission.

Our children were challenged to continue their learning at home and create an artefact.  The children's responses demonstrate their curiosity, creativity and sense of wonder about the universe around us.
