Friday Club is our cross country running club. Trials are in September and children from all year groups have the opportunity to run. The after school club on Friday has more than 60 children attending and they compete throughout the year. Even if they don't get into the after school club we have lunchtime training on Mondays and Wednesdays which is open to every child.
Netball Club is for Year 6's and not just for girls! Trials to get into Netball Club are also in September and the club runs on Tuesdays after school and before school on Wednesdays. We hope that Year 5's will get an opportunity to experience netball in the Summer Term.
In the Summer Term Year 5 and Year 6 children can trial for Cricket Club. This club takes place on Tuesdays after school. For those children who do not get selected then we hold an open session on Friday lunchtimes.
There are many other clubs that run throughout the year for children of all ages. They don't cost anything to attend (apart from commitment and dedication!) and are run with the goodwill of the staff who give freely of their time to give our children different opportunities to excel or experience something new. Keep an eye out on this section for further information.
